Destinazione Nicotera is a project aimed at enhancing and protecting the natural and cultural resources of the Nicotera area through the promotion of sustainable and responsible tourism, which looks to the future by adopting a series of practices and choices that do not harm the environment and promote sustainable economic development that does not harm local social processes but contributes to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants.

From food and wine to handicrafts, we choose local products and promote local cuisine. We choose accommodation run by local people, houses and apartments owned by local people.

Destinazione Nicotera is a platform for the promotion and booking of tourism in the area, and is committed to redistributing the economic benefits generated by the portal to tour operators and local community projects.
We sensitise operators and travellers to avoid wasting water and energy: from remembering to turn off the water tap to switching off all electrical appliances.
